Hope Lineman, Strategic Advisor to the PASSHE Chancellor on Workforce Innovation and Executive Director Workforce Development at Commonwealth University of Pennyslvania

Description:

PASSHE team members will outline the credential registry project, a critical piece of the workforce alignment portfolio which includes the implementation of a non-credit data system and a deeper dive into the credentialing pathways work that began with Prepared for PA. The State System is piloting this work within 6 high priority occupations and programs: business, nursing, engineering, computer science, education, and social service. This discussion will include an overview of the credential registry project including timeline, scope of work, and anticipated partnerships. Credential Engine is an open source credential registry that acts as a repository of metadata about all types of credentials in an accessible format that lets people explore competencies, learning outcomes, up-to-date market values, and pathways.
